Determining Pokemon's feelings towards you.
When you use an item on one of your Pokemon outside of a battle, such as a
Potion, the Pokemon will either move closer or away from you in the short
intermission sequence. How far the Pokemon moves depends on how much it likes
you. If it does not move at all, it feels neutral.
Mystery Gift
Go to any Poke Mart and click on the clipboard near the shopkeeper. The
clipboard is a questionaire. Type in the 4 words "Link Together With All" and
the shopkeeper should notice and gives you access to the Mystery Gift system.
Save the game and restart. At the Front Menu, there should be a new option
called "Mystery Gift" With Mystery Gift, you can unlock many things.
Enable trading to Ruby and Sapphire
Unlockable How to Unlock
Enable trading to Ruby and Sapphire Fix the Network Machine on Island 1.
This is done by getting both the Sapphire and Ruby (in game items) and
bringing them to the machine
Infinite Nuggets($$$$)
In Cerulean City,(you have to only have the first badge and not have beaten the
game yet) go to the bridge due north of the town and battle the four trainers.
Instead of going and battling the last trainer and getting the nugget and moving
on with your quest, go back to the pokemon center and deposit all your pokemon
and withdraw a really bad pokemon(preferably level 10 or lower) and then go back
and battle the fifth trainer. He will give you a nugget then battle you. Lose to
him and then heal the weak pokemon and then go back and battle him again with
only the weak pokemon. He gives you another nugget and then you battle him then
lose. Repeat proccess till your loaded with nuggets.
ItemFinder
There are places in the game where important people/Pokemon have stood at one
point. If you use the Itemfinder on the EXACT spot where they were, a special
item will be found which is usually very rare. You cannot find these items any
other way.
How to Unlock
Soothe Bell Use Itemfinder where Mr. Fuji was in the Pokemon Tower.
Leftovers Use Itemfinder where Snorlax was near Cycling Road and Silence
Bridge.
Macho Brace Use Itemfinder where Giovanni was in Viridian Gym.
Sacred Ash Use Itemfinder where Ho-Oh was in Navel Rock.
More time in the Safari Zone
In the safari zone , stand in any grassy area. Instead of moving left and right,
just tap left or tap right so that your character turns but you dont move. By
doing this, you'll still run into random encounters but your time in the safari
zone will not decrease.
Get to Sabrina in the Saffron City Gym without fighting any trainers
Enter the Saffron City Gym, and step onto the warp panel. Now, go:
North, South, South, North, South, North, North, South, South, North, North,
North, South, South. You will now be in Sabrina's room, without having to fight
any battles.
Unlockable/ How to Unlock
Mystic Ticket/Lugia and Ho-Oh you can download the mystic ticket at
Nintendo Events allowing you to go to Navel Rock, where Lugia and Ho-Oh
are located.
Aurora Ticket/Deoxys you can now download the Aurora Ticket at Nintendo
Events. This allows you to go to Birth Island, where Deoxys is located
Pickup Truck Next to S.S.Anne
If you use surf on the right of the harbor ( the walkway between the sailor that
checks your ticket and the ship it self) and keep going to the right with surf,
you'll see a pickup truck on a new harbor. If you go down to the bottom of the
harbor and check around on the floor, you'll find a lava cookie!
The way you do this is, DON'T go on the S.S.Anne, and DON'T Recieve CUT from the
captain. You must recieve cut from a pokemon traded from a friend who has CUT,
or get a friend who has CUT to teach one of your pokemon CUT. This way, it won't
be nessesary to go on the S.S Anne. Later on when you learn surf, come back and
the ship will still be there. Now you'll be able to use surf on the right of the
harbor connecting to the S.S.Anne. Keep surfing right and you'll find the pick
up truck

Get the National Dex (JP Version)
Once you have beaten the Elite 4 and have more then 60 pokemon in the pokedex,
go to Pallet Town and see the Professor. He gives you and Gary the National Dex,
which allows you to view the entries of all 386 pokemon.
Shiny pokemon
every time you encounter a pokemon you have a 1/8192 chance of the pokemon being
a different color, this is called a shiny pokemon
Diploma
To get the diploma, catch all 386 pokemon (i.e. fill the national dex).

Easy way to make your pokemon love you
It's really a very simple thing to do. All you really need is an a/c adapter for
your GBA or play it on the GameCube. How it works is like this. First, you take
the pokemon who's friendship you need raised ( say, a Chancey to turn it into a
Blissy) and put it in your party. Then, you stand outside in a town or somewhere
where you won't run into any fights. Then you just leave it alone. The
friendship raises as long as the pokemon is in your party, but you don't have to
DO anything with them. I did this with the Chancey I had stuck in storage and
had never used. And sure enough, next LV. up it evoled into a Blissy. It's a
great and easy way to up the friendship of any of your pokemon that evole
because of it.
How to avoid wild Pokemon
This only works on grass. Once you obtained CUT, you can cut the grass so you
won't find any Pokemon.
Berry Glitch to fix Ruby or Saphirre
Link up with a Ruby/ Saphirre version and ONLY TURN THE FIRE RED/ LEAF GREEN
game on. Then, on the "Press Start" Screen, press B+Select and follow the
written instuctions
